 1. Fill your plate with fruits and veggies

You don't have to give up the good foods you love, but if you want to lose inches, you'll want to eat proper portions of starchy foods and meat. By eating more fruits and veggies you will not only slim down, but you'll improve the look and feel of your skin and hair, which is always welcome.

2. Start exercising

Eating well will not get the body you want by itself. It's important to get active if you want to tone up and be ready for bikini season. You can enjoy snack that taste good, but aren't laden with fat and calories. You can snack on air-popped popcorn, trail mix, nuts and seeds, yogurt, fruit, and many other healthy foods. Just because you want a bikini body doesn't mean you need to deprive yourself of snacks. You just want to choose healthy snacks and eat proper portions of them. A healthy snack isn't a free pass to eat as much as you want because the calories will add up.
