Be sure to pick a class that meets on a schedule that works for you. If you have a lot of scheduling conflicts, or have to really rush to make it to yoga class on time, then you will often end up skipping your classes. That won't help you at all.
Yoga has a lot of potential spiritual and mental benefits in addition to the physical ones. If you take the time to practice it regularly, and put in a good effort, you should start seeing the benefits crop up in every area of your life.
